Waterproofing

Multi-Villa Mountain Waterproofing Campaign

Chouf, Lebanon

We executed a coordinated waterproofing campaign across five mountain properties in the Chouf district, covering driveways, exterior terraces, and the bases of new buildings. The objective was to lock the new envelopes against the heavy Mediterranean winter rainfall before tile and stone finishes were laid.

Multi-Villa Mountain Waterproofing Campaign

The Challenge

Five sites, five different substrates, and a tight window before the rainy season. Each villa had its own combination of hot summer UV, freeze-thaw at altitude, and active runoff at ground level. A single product would not cover every condition — we needed a system approach with materials selected per surface.

The Result

All five villas are sealed and ready for finishing trades. The owners now have documented waterproofing systems on their driveways, terraces, and foundations, with material data sheets handed over for future maintenance reference.

Our Solution

1

Per-Site Substrate Survey

Each villa was surveyed before mobilization. Concrete maturity, slope, drainage paths, and joint details were documented so we could plan the right primer and membrane for each surface rather than applying a single recipe across the whole campaign.

2

Cementitious & Bituminous Layers

Driveways and terraces received cementitious slurry coats for traffic and UV resistance. Foundation bases were treated with bituminous membranes for ground-water defense. Where exposure varied within a single site, products were transitioned cleanly across joints.

3

Sequenced Crew Rotation

Crews rotated through the five sites in sequence so each villa's waterproofing layers cured under the right conditions. The schedule was built around the weather forecast to make sure no fresh pour was rained on within 24 hours.

How We Solved It

Fresh waterproofing pour on a Chouf villa terrace overlooking the mountains
Cementitious waterproofing applied at the base of a Lebanese stone villa
Modern villa terrace mid-waterproofing pour with Chouf district buildings beyond
Fresh waterproofing pour at a building entrance during a Chouf villa campaign
Cementitious waterproofing pour on a Lebanese villa driveway in the Chouf district
